Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cylindrical Grinder Programmer to handle programming, setup, and operation of CNC Cylindrical Grinding machines. The candidate will be responsible for achieving precise grinding operations, maintaining dimensional accuracy, reducing rejection, and ensuring smooth production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and modify programs for CNC Cylindrical Grinding machines.
- Perform machine setup, job setting, and wheel dressing activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T; requirements.
- Monitor grinding parameters to achieve required surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct first-piece approval and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Select grinding wheels, fixtures, and tooling as per component requirements.
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programming issues.
- Optimize cycle time and reduce rejection/rework.
- Maintain production reports, offset records, and machine check sheets.




- Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams for process improvement.
- Follow safety standards, SOPs, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Train operators and support continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of CNC Cylindrical Grinding programming and operations
- Understanding of grinding parameters and wheel selection
- Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T;
- Knowledge of measuring instruments like Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
- Basic knowledge of CNC controls and offsets
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Preferred Industry:

- Automotive / Precision Components / Engineering Manufacturing Industry

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
