Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.

✅ Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment to ensure maximum plant uptime.

✅ Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems including:

- Pumps
- Gearboxes
- Compressors
- Chillers
- Boilers
- HVAC Systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Air Compressors
- Vacuum Pumps
- Cooling Towers
- Heat Exchangers
- Process Vessels, Reactors & Storage Tanks
- Piping Systems, Valves & Mechanical Seals

✅ Support pharmaceutical utility systems including:

- HVAC & Cleanroom Systems
- Purified Water Systems
- WFI Systems
- Steam Systems
- Compressed Air Systems
- Vacuum Systems

✅ Coordinate installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation support for new mechanical equipment.

✅ Prepare preventive maintenance schedules, SOPs, equipment records, and technical documentation.

✅ Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).

✅ Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvement and energy-saving initiatives.

✅ Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA guidelines,



safety regulations, and engineering standards.

✅ Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Validation, Quality Assurance, and EHS teams during maintenance activities and projects.

✅ Manage contractors and vendors during maintenance shutdowns and engineering projects.

✅ Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

✔ Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment.

✔ Experience in pharmaceutical production equipment and utility systems.

✔ Good understanding of:

- Pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment
- HVAC and cleanroom systems
- Boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
- Steam, compressed air, and vacuum systems
- Piping systems, valves, and mechanical seals
- Preventive & predictive maintenance practices

✔ Ability to read and understand:

- P&IDs;
- Mechanical drawings
- GA drawings
- Equipment layouts

✔ Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering documentation.

✔ Understanding of GMP, FDA requirements, and pharmaceutical engineering standards.

✔ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

✔ Good communication and teamwork abilities.
