Job Description – Operations Manager

Position Summary

Be Well Hospital Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day hospital operations at our Pondicherry and Cuddalore units. The ideal candidate should have prior hospital administration and operations experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure smooth functioning of all operational activities while maintaining high standards of patient care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

* Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure seamless functioning of all departments.
* Monitor patient flow, admission and discharge processes, and service delivery standards.
* Ensure optimum utilization of hospital resources, infrastructure, and manpower.
* Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Team Management

* Lead and supervise administrative, front office, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and support service teams.
* Coordinate with department heads to ensure efficient workforce planning and productivity.
* Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Patient Experience & Service Quality

* Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and service excellence.
* Address patient concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.
* Monitor patient feedback and implement improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

* Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, statutory regulations, and healthcare guidelines.




* Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation.
* Coordinate audits and implement corrective actions as required.

Coordination & Business Development Support

* Work closely with clinical and non-clinical departments to achieve organizational goals.
* Support marketing and business development activities to improve hospital growth and patient footfall.
* Prepare and present operational reports to management.

Qualification

* Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MHA) or Healthcare Management will be preferred.

Experience

* Minimum **5–8 years of experience** in hospital operations or healthcare administration.
* At least **2–3 years in a managerial role** within a hospital setting.
* Experience in multi-specialty hospital operations is preferred.

Required Skills

* Solid leadership and team management abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and quality standards.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Management Systems (HMS).
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Salary

As per industry standards and based on experience.
