We are looking for an experienced Surface Treatment Supervisor with strong hands-on expertise in Aluminium Anodizing to lead our anodizing operations and ensure world-class quality standards.

Job Summary

The Surface Treatment Supervisor will be responsible for the complete operation of the Aluminium Anodizing Plant, including process control, production planning, quality assurance, maintenance coordination, ETP operation, and manpower supervision.

This position is strictly for candidates with hands-on Aluminium Anodizing Plant experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations of the Aluminium Anodizing Plant.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Monitor and control anodizing process parameters, including:
- Temperature
- pH
- Acid concentration
- Current density
- Voltage
- Conductivity
- Coating thickness
- Perform chemical analysis and maintain anodizing bath chemistry.
- Operate and monitor rectifiers, pumps, chillers, pipelines, exhaust scrubbers, air blowers, and other plant equipment.
- Supervise the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP)



and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot anodizing defects such as colour variation, burning, patchiness, poor sealing, and coating thickness issues.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Maintain production reports, chemical records, and quality documentation.
- Train, guide, and supervise operators and technicians.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety procedures, and HIRA requirements.

Qualifications

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering
- OR B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry

Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in an Aluminium Anodizing Plant (Mandatory).
- Experience in automotive or aluminium extrusion industries will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ETP operations will be an added advantage.
