Experience: 6-8 years in accounting, preferably in retail, FMCG

Roles & Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in the ERP/accounting software.
- Record and reconcile all bank, cash, and digital payment transactions.
- Monitor and reconcile sales collections received from all retail stores across India.
- Verify store-wise cash deposits, UPI, card, and online payment settlements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile customer advances, vendor balances, and inter-branch transactions.
- Prepare GST data, reconcile GST reports, and coordinate with tax consultants for timely filings.
- Deduct and reconcile TDS as applicable.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor inventory valuation and coordinate with operations for stock reconciliation.
- Verify franchise/store billing and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Coordinate with banks regarding payments, reconciliations, and banking documentation.




- Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial records for audits.
- Assist statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants during audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory regulations.
- Analyze store-wise profitability, expenses, and financial performance.
- Identify discrepancies in financial transactions and resolve them promptly.
- Prepare reports required by management from time to time.

Key Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, basic reporting).
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple retail locations simultaneously.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
