About the Role

D2V Immigration is seeking a creative and highly skilled Video Editor & Instagram Content Specialist ( Remote Position ) to produce engaging social media content that strengthens our brand, attracts our target audience, and grows our followers. The ideal candidate should be an Instagram content expert who understands short-form storytelling, current trends, audience behavior, and how to use the latest video-editing and AI tools to create high-performing content.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, promotional videos, carousels, and interactive posts.
- Develop strong hooks, and creative concepts that encourages viewers to follow and interact with our page.
- Transform immigration updates and educational information into clear, visually appealing content.
- Use AI tools to assist with graphics, animations, video generation, and editing.
- Stay updated on Instagram trends, algorithm changes, viral formats, AI developments, and platform best practices.
- Optimize content for each platform, including format, dimensions, duration, pacing, thumbnails, and captions.
- Maintain consistent branding, visual quality, tone, and messaging across all content.
- Collaborate with the marketing and immigration teams to plan and execute content.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in video editing and social media content creation.
- Strong understanding of Instagram strategy, audience engagement,



and growth techniques.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar software.
- Practical knowledge of AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, or comparable platforms.
- Strong AI prompting skills and the ability to use AI efficiently throughout the content-production process.
- Ability to create AI-assisted visuals, videos, scripts, captions, voiceovers, and creative content concepts.
- Robust skills in short-form storytelling, motion graphics, colour correction, audio editing, and visual effects.
- Excellent creative judgment and an understanding of what makes viewers stop scrolling.
- Ability to work independently, accept feedback, and deliver content within deadlines.
- Strong written English with excellent attention to spelling and grammar.
- A portfolio featuring Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, AI-assisted content, social media videos, and creative posts is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience creating or managing content for an Instagram business account.
- Experience in immigration, education, legal services, or professional-service marketing is an asset.
- Basic filming, photography, scripting, and content-planning skills are an advantage.
