Role Description The Video Editor at BHARAT ACADEMIX is a full-time remote role responsible for producing engaging video content that supports educational programs, marketing campaigns, and training initiatives. Day-to-day activities include editing raw footage, assembling sequences, adding transitions, overlays, and audio elements, and optimizing video content for digital platforms.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to transform scripts, lectures, and project showcases into explicit, visually compelling videos. Additional tasks may include basic motion graphics, color correction,



and adapting content for multiple formats and channels. The role requires consistent communication with a distributed team and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and brand consistency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including managing footage, timelines, and audio for polished output.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and clarity across diverse educational and promotional content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create intros, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual assets that enhance learning materials.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is highly beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing for educational and marketing content are expected.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate effectively across functions, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in e-learning, EdTech, academic content, or educational video production is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
