About the Role

Pokonut is looking for a Video Editor (AI Native) who can own the complete video production process from concept to final delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, solid video editing fundamentals, and hands-on experience or genuine curiosity with AI-powered video creation tools.

Role & responsibilities

- Edit high-quality Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, ad films, brand films, customer testimonials, and social media content.
- Handle post-production including editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, subtitles, and final delivery.
- Use AI tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, Sora, Pika, Luma, and ElevenLabs to accelerate video production.
- Create platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, branding, and content teams to produce engaging, high-performing creatives.
- Assist in creating multilingual and localized video content using AI dubbing tools.
- Stay updated with the latest AI technologies and video editing trends.

Required Skills





- 1-3 years of professional experience in Video Editing/Post Production (agency, in-house, or freelance).
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics basics).
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Exposure to AI video tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, Sora, Pika, Luma, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, Freepik AI, etc. prior hands-on use preferred but robust willingness to learn is acceptable.
- Understanding of storytelling, basic color grading, sound design, and platform-specific content formats.
- A portfolio/reel demonstrating work on Reels, Shorts, or short-form social content

Good to Have

- Experience working on brand/marketing content for a D2C or beauty/personal care brand.
- Basic understanding of paid social ad creative requirements (Meta Ads, YouTube Ads).
- An eye for trends and fast turnaround under deadlines.
