About the Role

At Excentra Studio, we create impactful visual content for brands, businesses, educational institutions, and digital campaigns. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 1–2 years of professional experience who is passionate about storytelling, motion graphics, and AI-powered content creation.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in industry-standard editing software, have a strong understanding of social media content trends, and be eager to leverage the latest AI tools to produce high-quality, engaging videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, corporate films, promotional campaigns, and digital advertisements.
- Create engaging motion graphics, animated titles, transitions, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Perform professional color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, and basic sound design.
- Design eye-catching thumbnails, social media creatives, and supporting visual assets using Adobe Photoshop.
- Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, marketing teams, and clients to deliver compelling visual content.
- Utilize AI-powered creative tools to accelerate editing workflows, generate creative assets, enhance visuals, automate repetitive tasks, and improve production efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, organize editing assets, maintain project files, and ensure timely delivery of assigned projects.
- Optimize videos for multiple social media platforms while maintaining quality and platform-specific requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging editing techniques, AI technologies, and the latest social media content trends.

Required Skills





- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in professional video editing.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop for thumbnails and creative assets.
- Valuable understanding of motion graphics, typography, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and export settings for various platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Google Veo, Kling AI, Midjourney, CapCut AI, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media content creation and platform-specific video requirements.
- Excellent creativity, storytelling skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in cinematic video editing.
- Knowledge of 2D animation and motion design.
- Good understanding of color grading techniques and sound design.
- Basic photography or videography skills.
- Experience creating content for branding, marketing campaigns, and social media.
- Understanding of current digital marketing and content strategies.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Media, Animation, Graphic Design, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing professional editing work will be preferred.
