Job Profile: Associate – Quality Assurance (Bangalore)

Product Suite: Commcise is an integrated cloud-based Research Valuation, Consumption Tracking, Commission Management and Share-of-Wallet reporting solution built to meet the needs of Investment Managers.



Commcise provides clients with an automated Reconciliation, Invoice/Contract Management, Commission Targeting, Broker Voting, Commission Management and Reporting solution (website link).

Location: Bangalore/Gurugram

Working Hours: UK Shift Timings

Relevant Experience: 4 – 6 years

Role Purpose: To manage testing activities to ensure best user product experience

Required Qualifications

Mandatory

- Strong expertise on software testing concepts and methodologies
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude preferably in automation

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of SQL scripting.
- Good understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations / Investment Banking.
- ISTQB Certification

Deliverables and Tasks:

- Evangelist of Quality assurance best practices, upholding the rest of the team on such standards.

- Strong problem-solving mindset: keep quality on top while considering the project’s strict timelines.

- Capable of working in an ever-changing workplace.

- Be clear, accurate and regular when reporting through KPIs to the management/stakeholders.

- Understand/review functional specification document – being the first customer of our software.

- Write test plans,



strategies, test cases and work with Product team and/or relevant stakeholders to resolve any conflicts.

- Making sure that test case repositories, testing artifacts, configuration matrices across different products are always reflecting the “as-is” status of the application.

- Arrange and participate in retrospective meetings and update test artifacts accordingly.

- Participate in sprint planning, “Go/No Go” meetings with Product & Dev team and being accountable for test planning and sign offs.

- Performing Functional Web testing, Mobile Testing and API testing.

- Prepare and maintain test bed.

- Perform exploratory or ‘Test Case’ driven regression on client environments.

- Perform root cause analysis of production defects and work with relevant stakeholders to plan the patch release, if needed.

- Ensuring that knowledge is not sitting in pockets and rather evenly spread:
a. Arrange internal training and brainstorming sessions to bridge the knowledge gap and discuss improvement proposals.
b. Maintain centralized strong knowledge repository.
c. Hosting knowledge sharing sessions for wider teams after each sprint go-live to demonstrate new functionality changes.

- Possess the technical skills for building, customizing, deploying and managing test automation framework.

- Integrate automated tests with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to improve software quality.
