Job Description

We are looking for a Tester II – Embedded Testing with 2–3 years of experience in Automotive EMC/EMI Testing to join our engineering validation team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in EMC laboratory testing, RF instrumentation, automotive standards, hardware fundamentals, and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory processes.

This role involves executing EMC validation activities for automotive electronic products while ensuring compliance with international and OEM standards. Candidates should be flexible to work in rotational shifts based on laboratory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

EMC Testing

- Prepare EMC test setups as per approved setup documentation.
- Execute EMC tests according to test plans, specifications, and customer requirements.




- Perform automotive EMC validation activities in compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain EMC laboratory equipment, test setups, DUTs (Device Under Test), accessories, and peripherals.
- Generate accurate and detailed EMC test reports.
- Support troubleshooting of EMC test setup issues.
- Interpret automotive EMC standards and OEM specifications.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory processes.
- Work in Morning, Evening, Night, or Late Night shifts based on project schedules.

Equipment & Calibration Management

- Verify instruments and accessories received after calibration.
- Ensure completeness and correctness of calibrated equipment.
- Review calibration certificates and identify any non-conformities.
- Perform intermediate performance verification of laboratory equipment.
- Prepare calibration verification reports.
- Handle storage, maintenance, and proper usage of laboratory equipment.
- Support maintenance of EMC laboratory infrastructure.

Documentation & Quality

- Prepare technical reports and validation documentation.
- Support completion of EMC project reports.
- Follow laboratory quality procedures and documentation standards.
- Maintain compliance with internal quality and audit requirements.





Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2–3 years of experience in EMC/EMI testing.
- Hands-on experience with automotive EMC laboratory environments.
- Knowledge of automotive EMC standards.
- Understanding of RF measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory practices.
- Good hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Basic soldering experience.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
