As we continue to grow, we are looking for passionate Veterinary Doctors to join our scientific and animal health team. --- Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to oversee the health, welfare, and preventive healthcare management of goats and other farm animals involved in antibody production. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining excellent animal welfare standards while supporting our scientific manufacturing operations.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a unique combination of veterinary medicine, biotechnology, and biomedical research. --- Key Responsibilities Perform routine clinical examinations and monitor herd health.
Diagnose and treat infectious and non-infectious diseases. Develop and implement vaccination, deworming, and preventive healthcare programs.
Ensure compliance with CPCSEA guidelines and animal welfare regulations. Maintain high standards of biosecurity and farm hygiene. Monitor animal nutrition, breeding health, and overall well-being. Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs teams. Support antibody production programs through effective herd health management. Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
Train farm personnel on animal handling, welfare, and biosafety practices. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to animal health and facility management. --- Required Qualifications BVSc & AH (or equivalent Veterinary degree) from a recognized university.
Valid Veterinary
Council registration. Strong knowledge of herd health management and preventive veterinary medicine.
Experience in handling large animals such as goats, sheep, or cattle. Good understanding of CPCSEA regulations, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards. Ability to diagnose, treat, and manage common livestock diseases.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work on-site at the animal facility. --- Preferred Qualifications Experience in biomedical research, laboratory animal facilities, or biotechnology industries.
Exposure to antibody production or animal-derived biological products. Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and quality management systems.
Experience handling regulatory inspections and compliance documentation. --- Compensation &
