Advanced Technical Support Expert Industrial Automation (VFD & Machine Automation Specialist)

Seeking a Customer Success Advanced Technical Support Expert.

The role focuses on providing advanced technical expertise in Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Motor Management Systems, and Machine Automation solutions including PLC and Servo systems.

Support customers and internal stakeholders by delivering high-level troubleshooting, application guidance, and technical consultation across presales and post-sales phases, ensuring optimal performance of Schneider Electric Industrial Automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide end-to-end technical resolution for customer issues related to VFDs, motor management systems, PLC-based machine automation, and servo motion systems.
- Support pre-sales activities including product selection, drive sizing, motor control architecture, and system design guidance.
- Deliver post-sales troubleshooting, commissioning support, and application diagnostics for industrial automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and support Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), soft starters, and motor protection systems.
- Provide guidance on motor control strategies, energy efficiency,



motor protection, and drive parameterization.
- Diagnose issues related to drive faults, harmonics, motor overheating, load characteristics, and drive communication issues.
- Provide technical expertise on PLC programming, motion control systems, and servo motor applications.
- Troubleshoot issues in machine synchronization, motion control loops, encoder feedback, and machine cycle optimization.
- Analyze and reproduce complex technical issues in the technical support laboratory workplace to determine root causes.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles and solution documentation.
- Deliver technical training sessions to internal support teams, partners, and customers.
- Provide onsite intervention for critical industrial automation issues when required.

Education
- Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering

Experience
- ~4-7 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Automation systems
- Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and application support
