Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer with expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications using VB.NET and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web APIs, and related Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.NET and the .NET Framework.
- Develop and enhance web applications using ASP.NET and MVC.
- Build and consume RESTful Web APIs.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, and queries.
- Work with ADO.NET and Entity Framework for database integration.
- Develop desktop applications using WinForms and/or WPF.
- Create and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS.
- Perform application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Follow coding standards, version control, and Agile development practices.

Required Skills
- 3–15 years of IT experience with strong hands-on experience in VB.NET development.
- Strong knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.




- Experience with C# and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and database optimization.
- Experience with ADO.NET and Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and RESTful Web APIs.
- Experience with WinForms and/or WPF applications.
- Hands-on experience with IIS deployment and configuration.
- Experience with Crystal Reports and SSRS.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end integration.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with .NET Core or .NET 6/7/8.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Microservices architecture.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft .NET certifications are an added advantage.

Good to Have
- Experience in application modernization and legacy system migration.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and automated deployments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.
