Company Description Bhagwati Textiles, established in 1971, is a family-owned textile business specializing in a wide range of cotton, natural, blended, synthetic, organic, and BCI-certified fabrics. The company offers diverse products including muslin, cambric, dhoti, canvas, shirting, bottom wear, linen, rayon, polyester, and silk fabrics, produced on advanced weaving technologies such as powerloom, airjet, and rapier.

With in-house production and job-work capabilities, Bhagwati Textiles supplies around 1.5 million meters of fabric per month to domestic and international markets. Role Description The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing, and consistent digital interfaces that support Bhagwati Textiles’ business and customer engagement goals. Day-to-day tasks include translating business requirements into wireframes and mockups, creating user journeys and interaction flows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and IT to refine and implement design solutions.

The designer will work on improving usability across web and digital touchpoints,



conduct basic user research and feedback sessions, and ensure designs are aligned with the brand identity and textile-focused product offerings. This is a full-time, in office role based in Kolhapur, requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders and participation in product and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, and design systems.
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using common design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, user flows, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Proficiency in User Interface (UI) design for responsive web and mobile experiences.
- Basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Relevant experience in designing for e-commerce, manufacturing, or B2B environments is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
