Roles and Responsibilities

- Safe Transportation
- Drive the college bus safely and responsibly, following traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Ensure the safe pick-up and drop-off of students and staff at designated stops.
- Punctuality & Route Adherence
- Follow the approved bus routes and schedules strictly.
- Reach stops and the college campus on time to avoid inconvenience.
- Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tyres, fuel, mirrors, etc.).
- Report mechanical issues immediately and ensure timely maintenance.
- Student Safety & Discipline
- Ensure orderly boarding and alighting of students.
- Prevent overcrowding and ensure students remain seated while the bus is moving.
- Emergency Handling
- Respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies such as breakdowns or accidents.
- Provide first aid assistance if required and inform authorities/college management promptly.
- Cleanliness & Upkeep




- Maintain cleanliness inside and around the bus.
- Ensure the bus is in presentable condition at all times.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain required documents such as driving license, vehicle registration, insurance, and pollution certificates.
- Comply with college transport policies and legal requirements.
- Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with the transport in-charge or college administration regarding routes, timings, and issues.
- Communicate politely with students, staff, and parents when necessary.
- Fuel & Resource Management
- Use fuel efficiently and report fuel consumption accurately.
- Avoid misuse of the vehicle for personal purposes.
- Professional Conduct
- Maintain a polite, patient, and qualified attitude.
- Act as a responsible representative of the college while on duty.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
