Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated PRT English Teacher to teach students in Grades I to V under the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of English grammar and literature, and the ability to create an engaging, child-friendly learning environment that promotes language proficiency and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to primary grade students in accordance with the ICSE curriculum.

- Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.

- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, phonics, listening, and speaking skills.

- Foster creativity through storytelling, creative writing, poetry, dramatization, and interactive classroom activities.

- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate academic records.

- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.

- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.

- Integrate digital teaching tools and innovative teaching methodologies into daily lessons.

- Participate in school events, assemblies,



parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.

- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and student development.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English (B.A./M.A. English).

- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Experience

- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a school preferred.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of the ICSE English curriculum.

- Excellent classroom management skills.

- Child-centric and activity-based teaching approach.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Smart Boards, and digital learning platforms.

- Ability to inspire young learners and build a love for the English language.
