Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, contractors, EPC companies, and infrastructure firms.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable Surety Bond solutions.

Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Financial Analysis

Analyze financial statements including

Balance Sheet

Profit & Loss Account

Cash Flow Statement

Evaluate financial ratios and client creditworthiness.

Assess working capital position and banking arrangements.

Prepare financial summaries for insurers.

Surety Bond Operations

Collect proposal documents and coordinate with clients.

Prepare underwriting submissions.

Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, approvals, and issuance.

Underwriting Coordination

Liaise with insurance underwriters and reinsurance teams.

Negotiate pricing, limits, and policy terms.





Respond to underwriting queries.

Ensure compliance with insurer documentation requirements.

Documentation & Compliance

Verify legal and financial documents.

Maintain proposal records and bond documentation.

Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.

Monitor policy issuance and endorsements.

Market Research

Monitor developments in the Surety Bond market.

Track insurer appetite, pricing trends, and competitor offerings.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports.

Track pipeline, premium, issuance status, and renewals.

Present reports to management.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of Financial Statement Analysis.

Basic understanding of Insurance principles.
