Job Summary

Responsible for handling overall tool room activities including CNC/VMC machining, turning, milling, EDM operations, plastic injection mould maintenance, mould development activities, SPM machine support, customer handling, cost reduction, and material follow-up. Ensure smooth tool room operations, quality standards, and on-time completion of tooling activities.

Roles & Responsibilities (R & R)

Tool Room Operations

- Handle complete tool room activities and manpower allocation.
- Monitor CNC, VMC, Turning, Milling, and EDM machining operations.
- Coordinate mould manufacturing, assembly, correction, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure tooling activities are completed as per schedule.
- Support current mould development and engineering changes.
- Coordinate with production and quality departments for tool-related support.

CNC / VMC / Turning / Milling

- Basic knowledge of CNC & VMC machine operations and machining process.
- Monitor machine setup, tooling selection, and machining quality.
- Support operators and setters during machining activities.
- Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and tooling systems.

EDM Operations

- Basic knowledge of Wire Cut EDM & Spark EDM operations.
- Monitor electrode preparation and EDM machining quality.




- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

Plastic Injection Moulding

- Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulds and mould maintenance.
- Handle mould assembly and trial support activities.
- Coordinate mould correction and preventive maintenance activities.
- Support mould troubleshooting during production trials.

SPM Machine Knowledge

- Basic understanding of SPM machine operations and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with maintenance team during breakdowns.
- Support machine improvement and productivity enhancement activities.

Customer Handling

- Coordinate with customers regarding tool development status and delivery schedules.
- Attend customer discussions for technical and tooling requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response and quality support.

Cost Reduction Activities

- Implement productivity and cost reduction improvement activities.
- Reduce machining cycle time and material wastage.
- Improve tooling utilization and reduce rejection/rework.

Suggest process improvement ideas for operational efficiency

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
