Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Adobe Commerce Architect with 15+ years of experience to lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale Adobe Commerce solutions and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento), Adobe App Builder, composable commerce, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise integrations. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end solution architecture, driving technology strategy, establishing architecture governance, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing commerce solutions that align with business objectives.

- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and technical delivery of Adobe Commerce and Adobe App Builder implementations, driving enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Architect scalable B2B, B2C, headless, and composable commerce solutions leveraging Adobe Commerce, Adobe App Builder, Adobe I/O Runtime, API Mesh, Adobe I/O Events, and cloud-native architectural patterns.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions by defining platform capabilities, customization strategies, integration approaches, and reusable architecture patterns.
- Design enterprise integration architecture connecting Adobe Commerce with ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, tax engines, marketing platforms, and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, Adobe IMS, OAuth/JWT, event-driven architecture, and microservices.




- Lead architecture governance by producing solution architecture and technical design documentation, conducting architecture reviews, and ensuring solutions meet security, scalability, performance, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, product owners, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive solution decisions, manage technical risks, and ensure successful program delivery.
- Define cloud deployment architecture, environment strategy, CI/CD pipelines, release governance, and operational readiness for Adobe Commerce Cloud and Adobe App Builder implementations.
- Mentor solution architects and technical leads, establish architecture and engineering best practices, and provide technical leadership in resolving complex enterprise challenges.
- Evaluate emerging Adobe technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the organization's commerce architecture and digital transformation strategy.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in enterprise eCommerce, solution architecture, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions, including Adobe Commerce Cloud.
- Proven expertise in Adobe App Builder, Adobe I/O Runtime (Apache OpenWhisk), API Mesh, Adobe I/O Events, Adobe Developer Console, and Adobe I/O CLI.
- Deep understanding of composable commerce, headless commerce, cloud-native architecture, serverless computing, microservices, API-first design, and event-driven architecture.




- Extensive experience designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, GraphQL, Adobe IMS, OAuth/JWT authentication, and integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, payment gateways, tax engines, and other enterprise platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Commerce (Magento) architecture, including PHP, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, and the core Adobe Commerce framework, with deep understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, caching strategies, and up-to-date DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, scalability, high availability, performance optimization, deployment automation, and release management.
- Proven ability to lead architecture governance, engage with senior business and technology stakeholders, mentor technical teams, and deliver large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Adobe Commerce Architect or Adobe Commerce Expert Certification.
- Experience implementing Adobe App Builder in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and the broader Adobe ecosystem.
- Familiarity with React Spectrum and modern frontend technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native deployment models.
- Knowledge of MACH architecture and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
