Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically competent Process & Proposal Engineer with experience in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Odour Control Systems. The candidate will be responsible for process design, proposal preparation, equipment sizing, costing, and technical coordination for industrial wastewater and odour treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare techno-commercial proposals for ETP, Odour Control Units, Chemical Scrubbers, Biofilters, Activated Carbon Filtration Systems, and Ventilation & Air Pollution Control Systems.

· Carry out process design calculations for industrial wastewater treatment systems.

· Prepare process flow diagrams (PFD), P&ID;, and technical datasheets.

· Size and select process equipment including pumps, blowers, scrubbers, tanks, filters, dosing systems, fans, and ducting systems.

· Prepare BOQ, cost estimation, and technical specifications.

· Review tender documents, customer specifications, and drawings.

· Coordinate with vendors for technical and commercial quotations.

· Prepare technical compliance statements and submission documents.





· Support sales and business development teams during technical discussions with clients.

· Coordinate with execution and fabrication teams during project handover.

· Ensure compliance with environmental and industrial standards.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of industrial ETP processes and wastewater treatment technologies.

· Familiarity with odour control technologies such as chemical scrubbing, biofiltration, carbon filtration, and ventilation systems.

· Knowledge of pumps, blowers, ducting, FRP/SS equipment, piping, and instrumentation.

· Ability to understand and prepare process calculations and technical documents.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and proposal preparation.

· Good communication and client coordination skills.

Qualification

B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

2–5 years experience in ETP and odour control system design/proposals.

Preferred Candidate

Chennai-based or willing to relocate. Good communication and presentation skills. Experience handling industrial projects will be an added advantage.

Salary

As per industry standards and experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
