Position Overview

We are looking for a strategic and numbers-driven Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations while bringing a sharp financial perspective to talent management. Based in Bhubaneswar, you will bridge the gap between people management, payroll logistics, and bottom-line business strategies.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience managing core HR functions while actively overseeing compensation & benefits (C&B;), workforce budgeting, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Leadership & Operations

- Manage the full employee lifecycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, retention, and offboarding.
- Drive workforce planning and talent pipeline strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop, review, and enforce clear workplace policies, employee handbooks, and performance evaluation metrics.
- Maintain employee relations, address workplace grievances, and foster a positive organizational culture.

2. Financial & Payroll Strategy

- Lead annual manpower budgeting, forecasting HR costs, and tracking HR department expenditure against budget targets.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing, salary structure design, and tax deductions (TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax).




- Perform headcount cost analysis, productivity ROI checks, and labor variance analysis to guide leadership decision-making.
- Administer competitive Compensation & Benefits (C&B;) packages, incentive structures, and annual appraisal bands.

3. Compliance & Governance

- Ensure strict adherence to central and state labor laws applicable in Odisha (Shops and Establishments Act, Factories Act, PF/ESI regulations).
- Manage audit readiness for payroll, employee advantages, and HR financial records.

Qualifications & Required Skills

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with demonstrated handling of HR finance/payroll functions.
- Education: MBA / Master’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- HR Competencies: Performance management, end-to-end recruitment, labor laws, policy development, and conflict resolution.
- Financial Competencies: Payroll administration, budgeting, financial modeling for compensation, cost-per-hire analytics, and tax compliance.
- Tools: Proficiency in HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, Zoho People, Darwinbox) and financial software/spreadsheets (Excel, Tally, or ERP systems).
- Location & Mobility: Based in or willing to relocate to Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Pay: ₹15,537.94 - ₹54,594.33 per month
