CRY works to ensure happier childhoods for India’s children.
About Programme:
CRY is implementing a Direct Implementation project in Cheeta Camp/ Chembur location of Mumbai. The program focuses on education retention and dropout re-enrollment of children from slum community/ vulnerable children. It also focuses on SMC strengthening and working with other stakeholders so as to ensure education for above (6-18 years age category) children. A key component is running of an activity center and SMART classes for children along with focus on sports component also.
The project also promotes positive behavioral change among parents and strengthens community engagement on the issue of child labour and child marriage.
Consultancy deliverables:
- Preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, budgets, and audits for its projects
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
- Providing advice and guidance on financial management, planning, and reporting
- Developing and implementing accounting systems, procedures, and controls
- Managing monthly timesheets and Invoices
- Performing administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, data entry, and document management
- Supporting project staff in other areas as needed like Coordinating and facilitating meetings, workshops, trainings, and events
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Ensuring compliance with CRY accounting standards and regulations
- Providing guidance and advice on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation
- Training and mentoring staff on accounting best practices
Desirable Qualification & Experience:
Should be B.Com with positive experience in Tally, should know proper bookkeeping, well-versed in MS Office, and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of working in the social sector.
