1. Lead conceptual and detailed design of fixed-wing UAVs airfoil selection, wing/tail sizing, planform, control surfaces, and overall aircraft configuration
2. Perform aircraft performance calculations lift, drag, thrust required, stall speed, cruise/endurance/range, climb rate, wing loading, and power sizing
3. Own weight & balance and CG analysis across configurations and payload cases; ensure static and dynamic stability (longitudinal, lateral, directional) within secure margins
4. Conduct aerodynamic analysis and simulation using XFLR5, and CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent/CFX) for airflow, pressure distribution, drag estimation, and design validation
5. Design multicopter and hybrid VTOL airframes arm/frame geometry, motor-mount layout, structural load paths,
and vibration-conscious design
6. Perform propulsion matching and sizing — motor–propeller selection, thrust-to-weight, disc loading, and endurance optimization in coordination with the propulsion/electronics team
7. Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks) with GD&T;, and design for carbon-fiber/composite and additive manufacturing
8. Contribute to DGCA Type Certification — airworthiness documentation, design substantiation, and structural/performance justification
