Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Trainer to design and deliver effective training programs for retail pharmacy teams. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medicines, healthcare products, customer service, and adult learning techniques. The role involves conducting classroom and on-the-job training to improve employee performance, product knowledge, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct induction and onboarding training for new pharmacy staff.
- Deliver classroom and on-the-job (OJT) training for retail pharmacy employees.
- Train employees on pharmacy operations, SOPs, compliance, and customer service standards.
- Conduct product knowledge sessions on prescription medicines, OTC products, wellness, skincare, and healthcare categories.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, quizzes, and practical demonstrations.
- Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
- Develop and update training modules, presentations, manuals, and learning materials.
- Coordinate with store managers to monitor employee performance and training needs.




- Conduct refresher training programs and periodic knowledge enhancement sessions.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment reports, and training MIS.
- Travel to retail stores and regional locations for training programs as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pharmacy regulations, and quality standards.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in On-the-Job Training (OJT).
- Training needs identification and competency development.
- Product training and sales enablement.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, OTC medicines, and healthcare categories.
- Good understanding of SOPs, compliance, and pharmacy regulations.
- MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word proficiency.
- Solid interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to engage large groups and deliver impactful training sessions.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in retail pharmacy chains, pharmaceutical companies, or healthcare retail organizations.
- Prior experience in conducting classroom and field training.
- Exposure to learning management systems (LMS) will be an added advantage.
