We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting potential customers, explaining solar energy solutions, preparing quotations, and closing sales. The candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new residential and commercial solar sales opportunities.
- Meet customers at their homes or business locations to assess their requirements.
- Explain the benefits, features, and financial savings of solar power systems.
- Conduct site visits and collect basic technical information for system design.
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
- Follow up with leads and maintain solid customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM.
- Stay updated on government solar subsidy schemes and industry developments.
- Attend marketing events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in sales (experience in solar, electrical, construction, or related industries is an advantage).
- Freshers with excellent communication and sales skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of rooftop solar systems and net metering.
- Familiarity with government subsidy programs.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships.
