Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the design process from ideation to production designs for machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, update, and maintain designs using Solidworks and Autocad
- Assist in building Fabrication and Production Designs
- Modify and revise existing designs to improve functionality or to comply with changes in requirements
- New Product Ideation, Design and Engineering
- Preparation of G.A and Layout Drawing for Machine.
- Locate and identify suitable vendors for materials included in design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- Knowledge of 3D Part modelling, assembly modelling in Solidworks
- Proficiency in Solidworks is a must
- Should have strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of welding, machining processes,
and GD&T; principles
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and material selection
- Basic to mid level designing knowledge of material handling equipment is preferable
- Should possess knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication
- Minimum 1 year Experience in machinery or equipment design using Solidworks
