Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and troubleshooting of progressive stamping tools to ensure maximum equipment uptime and uninterrupted production.
- Diagnose and resolve online tooling issues, including progressive, compound, auto-stitch, indexing, and carbide tools, to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis of tooling breakdowns, implement corrective and preventive actions, and submit daily maintenance reports to the Head of Department.
- Drive process improvements through predictive inspections, recurring breakdown analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tool reliability and performance.
- Provide technical and tooling support to the Production Engineering team for process optimization and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Manage tooling inventory, spare parts, inserts, gauges, and fixtures, ensuring timely procurement, calibration, vendor coordination, and adequate stock availability.
- Lead tooling maintenance initiatives, implement PMO projects, and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and best maintenance practices.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement by driving Kaizen initiatives, hazard identification, toolbox talks,



and team capability development.

Requirements

- ITI certification in Tool & Die Making, Turner, or Fitter.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in progressive lamination tool maintenance.
- Strong expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of progressive and compound stamping tools.
- Sound knowledge of press machine operations and tooling systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for tooling drawings and engineering documentation.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and preventive maintenance skills with a focus on improving tool reliability and production efficiency.
