- To assist the radiologist in performing their duties in conducting procedure.
- To be responsible for proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment placed under the department
- To schedule and organize patients appointments.
- To explain the procedure to the patient and answer their queries before taking procedure.
- To ensure that the patient has received adequate preparation.
- To prepare equipment and work area as per requirement of the test.
- To be responsible for transportation & operation of portable units for bedside investigation.
- To prepare reports and dispatch them as per hospital policy.
- To adhere to infection control policies.
- To keep downtime record register for each machine.
- To coordinate with the biomedical department for the preventive maintenance of the machines & equipment.
