A Senior Fashion Designer and Merchandiser for a client acts as a dual-role expert blending creative design with commercial strategy. Responsibilities include developing seasonal collections based on market trends, managing end-to-end production (sampling to shipment), sourcing materials, and conducting client consultations to ensure high-quality, on-brand, and profitable garment development. - Design Development & Curation: Creating mood boards, sketches, and garment specifications (tech packs) that align with the client’s brand identity, target audience, and current trends.
- Merchandising & Sourcing: Managing the cost negotiation, fabric selection, and raw material procurement.
- Production Management:



Overseeing the entire sampling process and coordinating with manufacturers for on-time delivery.
- Client Consultation & Interaction: Meeting with clients to interpret styling needs, Measurement, Alerations , Guidence for the designs, occasion requirements, and preferences to guide them through design and fit selection.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensuring all final products meet buyer standards and quality requirements before dispatch. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
