Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced transformation leader to drive end-to-end vendor lifecycle governance across telco products and services. This role will lead cross-functional execution across procurement, finance, product, operations, billing, network services, and revenue assurance teams, while embedding AI-enabled workflows, automation, and data-driven governance to improve vendor performance, operational efficiency, compliance, cost accuracy, and business outcomes across the telecom ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead vendor lifecycle governance from onboarding and contracting through performance management, renewal, rationalization, and exit.
- Drive cross-functional transformation across P2P, revenue assurance, billing, product, procurement, finance, and operations teams.
- Identify, design, and implement AI-enabled workflows, automation opportunities, and process improvements across telecom vendor management activities, including contract intelligence, billing validation, anomaly detection, SLA monitoring, and supplier performance analytics.
- Establish operating rhythms, governance forums, KPI dashboards, risk controls, and executive reporting for vendor lifecycle transformation programs.
- Apply telecom domain knowledge across network services, carrier products, usage-based billing, inventory reconciliation, service assurance, order-to-activate workflows, and vendor cost governance.
- Manage program risks, dependencies, milestones, stakeholder alignment, and delivery outcomes across a complex supplier ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, technology, computer applications, engineering, or a related discipline; MBA, MCA, B.Tech, or B.E. preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in technology, telecom, vendor management, commercial operations, or large-scale transformation program management.
- Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle processes, supplier governance, contract operations, service performance, billing, and P2P workflows.
- Proven ability to deliver enterprise-wide transformation initiatives involving multiple business functions, senior stakeholders, and external partners.
- Working knowledge of AI tools, automation platforms, analytics, workflow digitization, process mining, and telecom-specific AI use cases such as predictive insights, billing exception detection, network service optimization, and intelligent supplier governance.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in telecom products, network services, managed services, supplier commercial models, or technology vendor ecosystems.
- Familiarity with AI applications in telecom, including network operations intelligence, service assurance analytics, demand forecasting, ticket triage, contract summarization, invoice validation, and vendor risk prediction.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured transformation plans, measurable outcomes, and scalable operating models.
- Strong financial acumen, including cost optimization, budget governance, billing validation, and value realization tracking.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and change management skills.
