Position: Bidding & Tendering Manager

Job Summary: The Bidding & Tendering Manager will be responsible for leading the end - to - end tendering & bid management process to secure current business opportunities. This role ensures the timely preparation of high - quality, compliant & competitive proposals while coordinating with cross - functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, legal,

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, review & evaluate tender opportunities from public & private sector clients.
- Manage the complete bid lifecycle, from opportunity assessment to proposal submission & post - bid activities.
- Analyse tender documents, technical specifications, contractual requirements & commercial terms.
- Develop bid strategies that maximize competitiveness & profitability.
- Co - ordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial, financial & legal inputs.
- Prepare & compile technical & commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements.
- Ensure all bids are compliant with tender instructions, company policies, & regulatory requirements.
- Develop project cost estimates, pricing models & commercial submissions in collaboration with finance & estimating teams.
- Maintain bid schedules,



submission deadlines & document control.
- Conduct risk assessments & recommend mitigation strategies for contractual & commercial risks.
- Lead bid review meetings & obtain internal approvals before submission.
- Build & maintain a library of proposal templates, technical documents & standard responses.
- Monitor bid outcomes, conduct win / loss analyses & implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, partners & subcontractors during the bidding process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, procurement regulations & competitor activities.
- Mentor & supervise bid coordinators or tender specialists where applicable.

Desired Candidate:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in Bidding, Tendering, Proposal Management, Contracts, or Commercial Management.
- Experience in Construction, Engineering, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, EPC, or Facilities Management industries.
- Professional certification in PMP, Procurement, or Contract Management is preferred.
