Job Summary

Dr. Humayun Speciality Hospital is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and clinical standards. The ideal candidate should possess robust clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' health conditions accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Supervise and guide junior nursing staff and support their clinical development.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies.




- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and hospital accreditation activities.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with a valid Nursing Council Registration.
- 5–8 years of clinical nursing experience in a reputed hospital.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights if required.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with hospital documentation systems.
