Gaj Group is a growing organization based in Vadodara, engaged in delivering quality projects with a focus on excellence, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

Handle procurement of civil construction materials, including cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, tiles, plumbing, electrical, and finishing materials.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP software.

Coordinate with project/site engineers to ensure timely material availability.

Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.

Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.

Ensure quality, quantity, and specification compliance for all purchased materials.

Prepare purchase reports, cost comparisons,



and MIS as required by management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in purchasing/procurement for civil construction projects.

Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and market rates.

Experience working with ERP software (such as SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).

Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of GST and procurement documentation.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.

Attention to detail and cost optimization mindset.
