The IP Billing Executive is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This position is responsible for managing in-patient billing activities, including generating and reviewing bills, validating charges. Daily tasks include coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, verifying patient records, updating billing systems, and resolving discrepancies in charges or payments. The IP Billing Executive also supports finance and insurance processes, responds to patient and caregiver billing queries, and ensures adherence to hospital policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in billing process including experience with hospital or healthcare billing systems.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, caregivers, clinical staff, and finance teams.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and hospital information systems; experience with insurance claims is an advantage.
- Prior experience in healthcare billing is preferred.
