- Apply for and manage Import Export Advance Authorization licenses.
- Plan and oversee import and export activities.
- Coordinate shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor the movement of goods from origin to destination.
2. Import Documentation
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB)
- Bill of Entry
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance documents
- Import licenses and customs documents
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), customs regulations, and applicable government notifications.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, DGFT, and other regulatory agencies.
- Monitor changes in import regulations and duty exemption policies.
4. Customs Clearance
- Coordinate with customs brokers/CHA for timely clearance of imported goods.
- Ensure correct HS Code classification and duty exemption benefits.
- Resolve customs queries, assessments, and documentation issues.
5. License Utilization and Monitoring
- Track imports against Advance Authorization quantities and values.
- Monitor duty-free imports and utilization of the license.
- Maintain reconciliation of imported materials.
6. Export Obligation (EO) Monitoring
- Track export obligations linked to Advance Authorization.
- Coordinate with export, production, and planning teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Prepare reports on EO status and compliance.
7. Documentation for Redemption
- Prepare and submit documents for Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) closure.
- Coordinate with DGFT for redemption and closure of licenses.
- Maintain complete documentation for audits.
8. Coordination with Internal Departments
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Stores, Finance, Logistics,
and Export teams.
- Ensure imported materials are available as per production schedules.
9. Record Keeping and Audit Support
- Maintain accurate import and license records.
- Support internal, statutory, and customs audits.
- Ensure documentation is readily available for verification.
10. Reporting and MIS
- Prepare reports on:
- License utilization
- Import status
- Pending shipments
- Export obligation status
- Duty savings
- Compliance reports
- Customs Clearance
- Coordinate customs clearance procedures.
- Ensure accurate tariff classification and duty payments.
- Handle customs inspections when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the Advance Authorization Scheme and Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)
- Understanding of customs procedures and import regulations
- Familiarity with DGFT procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of HS Codes and customs tariff classification
- Strong documentation and record management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Graduates or Post Graduates with 8+ years Robust Exposure in the above mentioned field only given preferances.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
