Requirements:

- Bachelors or master in logistics, business administration supply chain management.
- Min. 8-9 yrs. of experience working in Logistics with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects independently.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for

- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
- Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
- Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria
- Comply with the regulations, laws.
- Meet costs, timeliness targets accurately
- Resolve all complaints or issues our customers or vendors face on time
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities




- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement
- Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available
- Manage and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
