Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Data & Engineering Programs who can drive large-scale technology initiatives by partnering with Engineering, Product, Business, and Operations teams. This role requires strong program execution skills with enough technical understanding of data engineering, backend systems, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be a strong program leader who can manage complex initiatives, drive execution, improve delivery predictability, manage risks, and enable engineering teams to deliver scalable technology solutions. Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution (Primary Focus)

Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programs across engineering and product teams.

Drive program roadmaps, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and delivery commitments.

Establish program governance, operating rhythms, status reporting, and execution frameworks.

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.

Partner with leadership teams to provide visibility into program health, progress, and outcomes.





Drive alignment across multiple teams, functions, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution efficiency, and delivery outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Architects, QA, Data teams, and Business stakeholders.

Translate business priorities into clear execution plans for technical teams.

Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure teams have clarity on priorities, scope, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Support executive communication through clear reporting and program insights.

Technical Understanding (Engineering Partnership – 20%)

Partner with engineering teams working on:

Data engineering platforms

ETL/data transformation pipelines

Backend systems

Cloud-based technology solutions

Understand technical concepts including

Python and PySpark-based data processing

Data pipelines and system integrations

Cloud data environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Software development lifecycle and engineering practices

Support technical decision-making by facilitating discussions, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with program goals.

Understand data governance, security, compliance, and operational considerations in cloud environments.

Engineering Team Enablement

Partner with Engineering Managers to improve delivery execution and team effectiveness.

Support engineering teams with planning, prioritization, and removal of execution blockers.

Encourage Agile practices,



continuous improvement, and effective collaboration.

Provide mentorship and guidance on program execution practices.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technology program management, technical project management, software delivery, or engineering operations.

Proven experience managing complex technology programs involving multiple teams.

Strong experience working with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

Experience driving delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.

Preferred Skills

Strong program management and execution discipline.

Experience managing technology transformation programs.

Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical teams.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience improving engineering delivery processes and operational excellence.
