Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager
Experience: 6–10 years in channel sales within batteries, tyres, automotive aftermarket, electrical products, power backup, or EV charging.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and retailer network in the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Appoint new distributors and strengthen the existing channel network.
- Increase market share through effective sales planning and execution.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and customer trends.
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth.
- Ensure availability of products across the territory.
- Manage dealer relationships and resolve commercial issues.
- Execute promotional schemes, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for timely deliveries.
- Collect payments and ensure adherence to credit policies.
- Train dealers and sales teams on product features and sales techniques.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence reports.
