Job Summary

CDFC Hospital is looking for a qualified and compassionate Doctor to provide high-quality clinical care to patients, with a focus on diabetic foot care, wound management, diabetes-related complications, and general medical assessment. The doctor will be responsible for patient consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, follow-up care, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

- Conduct outpatient consultations and assess patients with diabetes, foot ulcers, wounds, infections, neuropathy, vascular concerns, and related complications.
- Take detailed medical history and perform appropriate physical examinations.
- Diagnose conditions and prepare evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medicines, investigations, dressings, procedures, and follow-up care as required.
- Identify emergency or high-risk cases and escalate appropriately.

Diabetic Foot & Wound Management

- Evaluate diabetic foot wounds, ulcers, infections, deformities, neuropathy, and ischemic changes.
- Assist in wound care planning, debridement decisions, offloading advice, and infection control.
- Coordinate with podiatry, nursing, physiotherapy, vascular, orthotic, and surgical teams when needed.
- Educate patients on foot care, footwear, glycemic control, wound prevention, and follow-up compliance.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, clinical notes, consent forms, and follow-up plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control standards, biomedical waste rules, and patient safety guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital data.

Team Coordination





- Work closely with consultants, nurses, wound care staff, physiotherapists, dietitians, and administrative teams.
- Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
- Support junior clinical staff and assist in training when required.

Patient Communication

- Explain diagnosis, treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes clearly to patients and families.
- Build patient trust through professional, ethical, and compassionate care.
- Encourage regular follow-up and preventive care.

Qualification Requirements

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MS General Surgeon
- Valid medical council registration.
- Additional qualification or experience in diabetology, wound care, emergency care, general medicine, surgery, or diabetic foot care will be preferred.

Experience

- Freshers with strong clinical interest may be considered.
- 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in diabetic foot, wound care, outpatient care, or hospital-based clinical practice will be an advantage.

Required Skills

- Strong clinical examination and diagnostic skills.
- Good knowledge of diabetes and related complications.
- Ability to manage wounds, infections, and follow-up care.
- Good communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ethical, responsible, and team-oriented approach.
- Basic computer skills for EMR or digital documentation.

Working Conditions

- OPD and clinical ward-based responsibilities as assigned.

- May be required to attend emergency/high-risk cases when needed.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
