We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join our Global Consulting Group. This is a high impact role for a technology professional who is passionate about designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

The Technical Consultant is responsible for delivering technical consulting services throughout the implementation lifecycle, including integrations, data migration, system configuration, reporting, automation, and custom development. The consultant works closely with Business Consultants, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to technical best practices and implementation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and implement technical solutions for enterprise HCM and business applications.
- Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP web services, SFTP, middleware, and other integration technologies.
- Design, build, validate, and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, loading, and reconciliation.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts to support customer reporting requirements.
- Configure system security, permissions, workflows, notifications, and technical platform components based on solution design.
- Collaborate closely with Business Consultants to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, and implementation planning.
- Perform technical analysis, troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable resolutions.
- Develop reusable technical assets, accelerators, automation scripts,



and deployment best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
- Support testing activities including unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications, data mapping documents, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support environment management, release management, deployment activities, and production cutover planning.
- Collaborate with customer IT teams and third-party vendors during integrations and technical implementations.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities by providing technical estimations, architecture guidance, proof-of-concepts, and solution demonstrations.
- Mentor junior technical consultants by promoting coding standards, best practices, and delivery excellence.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction, technical quality, utilization, and project delivery KPIs.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, AI, APIs, integration platforms, automation tools, and enterprise application trends.
- Travel up to 50% to support customer engagement and project delivery as required.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 35 years of enterprise application implementation experience, including at least 2+ years delivering medium to large-scale enterprise implementations.




- Robust experience in enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, SFTP, OAuth, and related integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience in data migration, ETL processes, data validation, transformation, reconciliation, and deployment activities.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts using enterprise reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data structures, and system architecture concepts.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, C#, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Experience working with middleware or integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato or similar solutions is an advantage.
- Experience with leading HCM platforms such as Cornerstone, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), implementation methodologies, release management, and deployment best practices.
- Experience collaborating with functional consultants, project managers, customer IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong customer facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high quality technical solutions with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, technical solution design, estimations, and proof-of-concepts is a plus.
- Customer first mindset with a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and high quality enterprise solutions.
