Purpose/Objective The Support - Site Safety assists in the implementation and monitoring of safety procedures at project sites.
This role supports the Lead - Site Safety by conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, assisting in training initiatives, and promoting safety awareness among site personnel to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address hazards.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly to improve safety.
Training and Orientation: Assist in delivering safety training and orientation for new employees and contractors.
Ensure training programs are comprehensive and effective.
Equipment Management: Ensure all safety equipment is available, properly maintained, and used correctly.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Safety Communication: Communicate safety information to workers and ensure visibility of safety signs and notices.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance at all times.
Manpower and Equipment Induction: Manage the safety induction process for all personnel and construction equipment.
Ensure secure erection of scaffolding and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualifications: Diploma in safety, health and environmental management.
Work Experience: 5-8 years of experience in site safety project roles.
Experience in safety inspections and implementing safety programs.
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of safety regulations, risk assessments, and safety training.
Knowledge of industry-specific safety practices and compliance standards.
