We are looking for an experienced Ammonia Operator to operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system in our dairy processing plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective operation of refrigeration equipment, monitoring system performance, and carrying out routine maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor ammonia refrigeration systems and associated equipment
- Monitor compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and cooling systems
- Maintain required temperature levels in cold rooms and production areas
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities
- Identify and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues
- Record operating parameters and maintain log books
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ammonia handling standards
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth plant operations




- Report equipment abnormalities and support breakdown maintenance activities

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Experience

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in ammonia refrigeration plant operations
- Experience in Dairy / Food Processing / FMCG industry preferred

Skills

- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and utilities
- Experience in compressor and cold room operations
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Understanding of safety practices related to ammonia handling
