Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js with TypeScript in an AWS environment.
- Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Utilize DynamoDB for database management and leverage OpenSearch for search capabilities.
- Integrate caching mechanisms using Redis to enhance performance.
- Write and optimize code for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, database operations, and serverless
- deployment.
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices in a Node.js development environment.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment activities.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services and Node.js frameworks/libraries.
- Document your work thoroughly for team collaboration and future reference.

Qualifications

- Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
- Strong, hands-on TypeScript experience (this is a core requirement,



not a nice-to-have).
- Solid understanding of software development concepts and design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and think critically through technical problems independently.
- Ability to learn quickly and understand technical details in depth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — you will be expected to clearly explain your technical decisions and approach to the team.
- Ability to work well within a team workplace.
- Availability to work from the Ahmedabad office during UK hours.
- AWS services knowledge (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, OpenSearch) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) where appropriate, but must be able to fully explain, justify, and answer detailed questions about any code submitted — whether hand-written or AI-assisted — including the design decisions and reasoning behind it.

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
