Team Lead / Manager – Sales & Candidate Conversion Location: REMOTE | Experience: 2–5 years | Reports to: FounderAbout the Role We're looking for a sales-driven team manager to lead and train a growing team of interns responsible for converting candidates through our recruitment process. This role blends people management (training, coaching, performance monitoring of a large intern team) with hands-on ownership of conversion targets.What you'll do - Train, coach, and manage a team of sales/telecalling interns handling high-volume candidate outreach

- Build and refine call scripts and objection-handling frameworks for candidate conversion
- Own and drive conversion targets, monitor call quality, and run regular performance reviews
- Handle escalations and act as the point of contact for team leads under you
- Report conversion metrics and team performance to leadership What we're looking for - 2–5 years of experience in sales/counseling roles at an EdTech company, coaching institute, or exam-prep platform (e.g.,



admission counseling, course sales, lead conversion)
- Proven experience training and managing a team of 10+ junior sales reps or counselors
- Robust track record of converting warm, already-engaged leads — not cold outbound selling
- Comfortable working with targets, call monitoring, and structured performance reviews
- Excellent spoken English/Hindi (or relevant regional language) and objection-handling skills Good to have - Experience scaling a team from a small base (10–20) to a larger one (50–100+)
- Familiarity with CRM/dialer tools used in high-volume calling operations Must Have: Should have work experience in any ED TECH related companies or candidate counselling must have candidate counselling experience must have successful sales conversion track record excellent top notch communication skills
