About ARKO ANSR is the market leader in enabling organizations to build manage and scale global teams through Global Capability Centers GCCs Global Capability Centers act as strategic business partners to their parent organizations making them global hubs for innovation and technology work Partnering with ANSR ARKO is extending its global presence by foraying into India ARKOs India Operations will be an integrated global hub focused on driving technology innovation thereby giving you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions to solve complex challenges for our business and our customers ARKO is the sixth largest convenience store operator in the United States and operates more than 3 800 sites across its retail wholesale and fleet segments Tax Accountant II Responsibilities Perform fuel and excise tax related accounting tasks as assigned Prepare fuel and excise tax return workpapers forms and resulting payment request in compliance with multiple regulatory jurisdictions Responsible for general ledger entries and reconciliations of assigned tax liabilities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices Compile audit documentation as needed Research filing discrepancies and communicate issues to management to ensure accurate accounting for tax accruals and related ledger activity Conform and adhere to internal controls over tax accounting procedures as set forth by upper management Experience needed to succeed 1 to 3 years of Indirect tax reporting accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment specifically related to U S motor fuel and excise tax Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products Excel Word and Outlook Advanced Excel skills i e x-lookups sumifs pivot tables Familiarity with Power BI a huge plus Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines Strong computer presentation and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Robust research analytical and problem-solving skills Detail oriented with excellent time management skills This is not an exhaustive list of all job duties and requirements and may change based on business necessities
