Job Title : R&D; Junior Executive – Spinning
Location: Tirupur
Age: Below 45 years
Reporting To: R&D; Head / R&D; Manager
Job Summary
To support R&D; activities in spinning by assisting in trials, data analysis, process improvement, and quality monitoring to enhance yarn performance and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Trial Support
- Assist in conducting trials for current yarn developments Collect and record trial data accurately Support implementation of trial results
2. Process Monitoring
- Monitor machine performance and process parameters Identify deviations and report to senior team Assist in improving efficiency and reducing waste
3. Quality Support
- Monitor yarn quality parameters (CSP, CV%, IPI, U%, Hairiness) Assist in analysing quality reports Support corrective actions
4. Data Collection & Analysis
- Maintain records of production, quality, and trial data Prepare reports and assist in data analysis Update ERP/MIS systems
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams Support day-to-day R&D; activities
6.
Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation of trials and processes Ensure adherence to SOPs
Key Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of spinning processes
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good observation and data recording skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/ERP) Willingness to learn and adapt
Experience Requirement
- 5 - 7 years (Freshers can be considered)
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy of data collection and reporting
- Support in successful trial execution
- Reduction in process deviations
- Improvement in quality parameters (support role)
Qualifications Required
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering
- Basic knowledge of spinning and yarn properties
