Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the execution and delivery of AI-powered digital products. The ideal candidate will bridge business and engineering teams by translating product vision into well-defined user stories, managing product backlogs, and ensuring high-quality delivery across agile teams.

This role requires a strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, AI/LLM integrations, and RAG-based systems while driving agile execution, release planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & Agile Delivery

- Understand the product vision, objectives, roadmap, and feature priorities.
- Convert business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Own, maintain, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager.
- Validate completed features against business goals, user experience, AI performance, and technical expectations.
- Balance feature development, AI enhancements, technical debt, and defect resolution while maintaining delivery velocity.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure development teams have transparent priorities and well-defined requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, QA, design, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Technical Program Management

- Coordinate release planning and deployment readiness with Product, Engineering, and Release Management teams.
- Identify, track, and proactively remove blockers across teams and dependencies.
- Monitor delivery metrics including velocity, burndown, throughput, and sprint predictability.
- Drive continuous improvement across agile delivery processes.




- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and self-organizing team culture.
- Ensure transparent communication of project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.

Required Technical SkillsAPI & Integration

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with OAuth authentication, API payloads, HTTP status codes, and service interactions.
- Ability to review API contracts, validate request/response flows, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate API versioning.
- Experience working with event-driven architectures and dependency mapping.
- Hands-on experience using API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Insomnia.

AI & Generative AI

- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and Llama.
- Understanding of AI integration patterns, prompt workflows, model APIs, and AI safety considerations.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and AI-powered product development.

Data & Systems

- Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data for troubleshooting and validation.
- Experience reviewing application logs and RAG retrieval traces.
- Working knowledge of SQL for reading and interpreting queries.
- Understanding of data models, schema mapping, metadata management, and data validation.
- Familiarity with content ingestion pipelines and data freshness concepts within AI systems.

Cloud & Delivery Tools

- High-level working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.




- Experience with agile delivery tools such as Aha and Rally.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and product delivery best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud-based applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or Generative AI products is highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure-based applications and cloud services.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience working on AI platforms, conversational AI, or intelligent automation products.
- Exposure to analytics dashboards and delivery reporting.
