Job Description: Packaging Development Specialist

Exp- 8-10 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and industrialize primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for FMCG products across multiple SKUs
- Partner with the brand team to translate consumer insights and brand strategy into effective packaging
- Lead packaging development and innovation for recent product launches, renovations, and promotions under tight timelines
- Specify packaging materials and components optimized for high-speed filling, packing, and distribution
- Conduct packaging performance, transport, shelf-life, and consumer-use testing
- Support factory trials, line validations, and scale-up activities in high-volume manufacturing plants
- Manage packaging suppliers, including technical alignment, cost negotiation, and performance evaluation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, material lightweighting, and sustainability
- Ensure packaging complies with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., food contact, labeling, environmental regulations)
- Troubleshoot packaging issues impacting line efficiency, quality, or consumer experience
