Position: GM Commercial (MS Pipes)
Location: Guma, Raipur
Employment Type: Full-Time
Office Timing: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Salary Range: 1.5 – 2 Lakh per Month

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of GM Commercial to lead and oversee the complete commercial operations of a steel manufacturing business. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, vendor coordination, billing operations, dispatch planning, inventory coordination, commercial documentation, and overall operational efficiency.

Prior experience in the MS Pipe manufacturing industry is mandatory for this role.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent commercial acumen, and extensive experience in handling commercial functions within the steel and MS pipe manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage complete commercial operations of the organization
- Handle procurement and raw material purchasing activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor commercial documentation, invoicing, billing, and dispatch coordination
- Coordinate with production, stores, logistics, accounts, and sales departments
- Ensure proper inventory monitoring and stock management
- Monitor operational costs and implement cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with GST, taxation, and commercial procedures




- Manage dispatch planning and material movement coordination
- Prepare commercial reports and operational updates for management
- Lead and supervise the commercial team and ensure smooth departmental functioning
- Support management in strategic planning and operational decision-making

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate / MBA preferred
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in commercial operations
- Mandatory experience in MS Pipe manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of procurement, dispatch, billing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and commercial compliance procedures
- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems preferred
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple operations and teams effectively
